PINUS SYL PIXIE
Grower Notes:

Pinus sylvestris 'Pixie' is commonly referred to as Pixie Scots Pine. It is a dwarf selection with a compact, rounded habit (often on a standard), and stout, twisted, blue-green needles. Needles contrast nicely with its burnt orange candles that emerge in spring. It can grow two feet tall with an equal spread. Its bark is distinctive orange, and flaky on its upper trunk and branches.

Pixie Scots Pine thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. They prefer cooler summers and dislike high heat and humidity.
